About the Role

As the Vice President of Sales (Canada), you will be responsible for overseeing the company’s sales operations across the country, managing a team of eight sales professionals. This is a player-coach role that requires both strategic leadership and hands-on engagement in the sales process. Your primary focus will be assessing the current sales team, optimizing performance, and developing a go-to-market strategy that drives continued revenue growth.

Responsibilities

· Develop and execute a Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for the Canadian sales division.

· Lead, mentor, and optimize an established sales team, many of whom were promoted from within.

· Drive adherence to KPIs, including sales quotas, customer retention, pipeline coverage, and close rates.

· Implement strong CRM usage and performance management strategies to increase efficiency.

· Expand market presence by identifying growth opportunities and refining the company’s sales processes.

· Travel 65-75% within Canada (primarily to Toronto, Montreal, and Edmonton) to meet with key clients and sales team members.

Qualifications

· 15+ years of sales experience, including leadership of a team of at least five direct reports.

· Proven track record of managing $20M+ in annual revenue, preferably within industrial sales (though industry experience is not required).

· Strong leadership and coaching skills, with experience assessing and mentoring legacy sales teams.

· Expertise in CRM adoption, forecasting, and pipeline management to drive data-driven decision-making.

· Strategic mindset with the ability to balance high-level business planning with hands-on leadership.

· Willingness to travel as needed across Canada.
