About the Role

This role offers a unique blend of technical consulting and relationship-driven sales, with extensive training provided to ensure your success. Candidates would undergo a 6-month training program, during which they’ll learn innovative piping solutions and master both the technical and sales aspects of the role. They are committed to fostering long-term career growth, providing mentorship, and helping build a rewarding future in technical sales.

Responsibilities:

· Analyze current business processes, recommending improvements for efficiency and cost reduction.

· Review performance data (financial, sales, and activity reports) to monitor productivity, goal progress, and activity levels.

· Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.

· Utilize variance reports, technical product knowledge, market trends, and industry publications to develop personal networks and participate in pet industry trade shows.

· Service existing accounts, identify growth opportunities, and set clear objectives for visits. Drive sales and territory volume growth, increasing customer accounts and sales revenue.

· Secure orders and boost sales volume by presenting promotions and new product lines.

· Follow up on customer inquiries or issues, resolving problems promptly.

· Cultivate relationships with rep and brokerage firms, as well as distributors.

· Identify new customers through online business listings, leads from existing clients, and attendance at trade shows and conferences.

· Provide upper management with sales forecasts and marketing strategies.

· Collaborate with colleagues to share selling strategies and marketing information.

· Prepare and present PPTs highlighting the product's beneficial qualities.

· Possess in-depth knowledge of the pet industry, public speaking, and marketing techniques.

· Exhibit strong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills. Build and maintain customer relationships to develop a loyal customer base.

· Handle stress effectively and consistently meet or exceed sales goals.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.

· Five years of sales experience in the pet industry, particularly in private brands.

· Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.

· Ability to leverage computerized systems and spreadsheets for efficiency analysis.

· On-site position located in Chino, CA.

· Some travel required.

· Familiarity with the pet food and accessories industry and a proven sales track records
