Our client is the exclusive distributor for ESP fittings & tooling in TX & offshore GOM. Furthermore, our client is the world's most advanced pipe & tube connection that qualifies to ASME B31 pressure piping code. Their business is growing fast with disruptive technology. They are seeking a technical sales engineer to join their growing team.

About the Role

This role offers a unique blend of technical consulting and relationship-driven sales, with extensive training provided to ensure candidates’ success. This is an exciting opportunity for a mechanical engineering professional looking to pivot into a sales-focused role while leveraging their technical expertise.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with shipyard clients, the U.S. Navy, and other key stakeholders.

· Provide technical consulting on their products, focusing on their application and benefits for marine and defense-related projects.

· Identify client needs, propose tailored solutions, and support the implementation of their systems.

· Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer challenges and develop strategies to win new business.

· Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities in the San Diego territory.

· Meet or exceed sales targets while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).

· Strong interest in transitioning to a sales-focused career while leveraging technical expertise.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse clients.

· Highly self-motivated and organized, with a passion for learning and professional growth.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

· Previous experience or exposure to shipyard, marine, or defense industries is a plus but not required.
