With a strong reputation in the industry and an entrepreneurial, flat organizational structure, they are looking for a high-performing Senior Account Executive to drive new business development.
About the Role
The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for hunting and closing high-value deals with financial institutions across the U.S. This is a strategic remote sales role with a focus on selling risk management software and consulting solutions. The ideal candidate has a proven ability to win new business, engage C-level decision makers, and drive revenue growth.
This is a fully remote role with 50% travel involved for client meetings and industry events.
Responsibilities
· Identify and engage prospective clients, building relationships with financial institutions.
· Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth.
· Effectively communicate the value of risk management solutions in a consultative sales process.
· Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing.
· Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure client success.
· Travel 50%+ to meet with clients, attend industry events, and expand market presence.
· Represent the company at key financial industry conferences and networking events.
· Consistently meet or exceed sales targets in an uncapped commission environment.
Qualifications
· 5+ years of sales experience in risk management software, consulting, or financial technology (FinTech).
· Proven ability to win and grow new business within financial institutions.
· Existing book of business and strong network within financial services.
· Experience engaging C-suite and senior decision-makers.
· Background in software, consulting, or financial risk management solutions.
· Located in the USA with a preference for candidates in North Carolina
