About the Role
The Sales Director will drive new business acquisition across the media, publishing, and content licensing space. This role requires a consultative, strategic approach, focused on building relationships with decision-makers at complex organizations, responding to RFPs, and managing long sales cycles. You’ll be supported by marketing, sales development, and account management teams, allowing you to focus on closing high-value deals.
Responsibilities
· Drive new logo acquisition and enterprise deal closure across a national territory.
· Manage a complex 2-9 month sales cycle, handling both mid-market and large global accounts.
· Collaborate with inside sales and marketing to qualify inbound leads and build outbound strategies.
· Lead RFP processes and proposal development in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
· Maintain a high-integrity, consultative sales approach that aligns with the company’s client-first values.
· Utilize Zoho CRM to manage pipeline, forecast deals, and track outreach activities.
Qualifications
· 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with a strong preference for experience in media, publishing, or content management.
· Demonstrated ability to close six- and seven-figure enterprise contracts.
· Experience navigating RFPs and formal procurement processes.
· Must be a self-starter with strong drive and ownership, this is a proactive, outbound-heavy role.
· Consultative sales mindset, skilled in solution selling and tailoring approach to unique client needs.
· Location: East or West Coast U.S. preferred.
