About the Role
As an Outside Sales Representative, you will play a vital role in driving new business while nurturing existing client relationships. You will inherit some accounts but primarily focus on hunting and developing net new opportunities. This role is ideal for a motivated and outgoing sales professional who thrives in a consultative and relationship-driven sales environment.
Responsibilities
· Manage and grow a designated territory in the Houston, Texas area.
· Drive new business development while managing and expanding existing accounts.
· Collaborate with sprinkler contractors, municipal clients, and construction industry professionals to deliver tailored fire pump package solutions.
· Oversee sales cycles ranging from 8 weeks to 12 months.
· Travel up to 30% to meet clients, maintain relationships, and close deals effectively.
Qualifications
· 3–5 years of experience managing a sales territory, preferably within pump systems, construction, or sprinkler contracting.
· Proven ability to develop new business opportunities and meet or exceed sales quotas.
· Driven, charismatic, and outgoing personality with a hunter mindset.
· Located in the Houston, Texas area and comfortable with regular travel within the region.
