With a strong global presence, they operate two facilities in China and provide direct drop-shipping to hospitals, doctors, and medical OEMs. Their expertise in contract manufacturing allows them to deliver high-quality, customized solutions to their clients.

About the Role

As the National Sales Director, you will be responsible for hunting and developing new business within the medical OEM market, focusing on Tier 3 & Tier 4 manufacturers. This is an opportunity to lead national business development efforts, build a manufacturing rep network, and drive strategic client relationships. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in medical contract manufacturing sales, a hunter mentality, and the ability to establish long-term partnerships with decision-makers.

Responsibilities

· Identify and engage Tier 3 & Tier 4 medical OEMs, uncover needs, and generate demand.

· Establish and manage manufacturing reps across the East Coast (Minneapolis to NY/Boston, SC, NC).

· Conduct strategic travel (~2x per month) to meet key decision-makers in supply chain, purchasing, and C-suite roles.

· Work closely with inside sales for lead processing and manage manual sales documentation.

· Manage a 3–6 month sales cycle, with occasional deals extending beyond a year.

Qualifications

· 5+ years of experience in contract manufacturing sales within the medical OEM space.

· Existing experience working with East Coast manufacturing reps and the ability to establish a strong rep network.

· Chicago-based and able to work in-office while traveling for client visits (~2x/month).

· Valid U.S. passport & fluent in English for business travel and client interactions.

· Strategic sales hunter with a proven track record of generating demand and closing deals rather than relying on inbound RFQs.
