About the Role
This is a hybrid sales role based in the Greater Toronto Area (Oakville office) with a strong focus on cold outbound business development. As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you’ll be responsible for identifying and engaging new prospects, conducting high-volume outreach, and delivering media kits to qualified leads. The role is ideal for individuals who thrive in competitive environments and are motivated by uncapped earning potential.
Responsibilities
· Make 100-120 outbound cold calls per day to C-level decision-makers at mid-to-large companies.
· Research and target businesses launching new products or brands in high-visibility sectors.
· Send out media kits and pass qualified leads to senior sales executives for closing.
· Collaborate closely with sales leadership to refine messaging and identify new verticals.
· Stay up to date on media, social, and industry trends to create effective hooks during outreach.
· Shadow top performers, receive weekly coaching, and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
Qualifications
· Minimum 6+ months of outbound B2B sales or cold calling experience (recruiting backgrounds welcome).
· Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
· Must be able to work on-site 3 days per week (Oakville office).
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Self-motivated, confident, and resilient, comfortable with rejection and high call volume.
· Business-minded, with the ability to engage C-level contacts and build quick credibility.
