About the Role

As the Business Development Manager, you’ll lead multiple sales teams to drive growth and efficiency in the Medicare sales division. Reporting to the VP of Sales, this role involves managing a team of 12–18 agents, scaling operations, and ensuring a positive, results-driven environment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, adaptable, and experienced in Medicare or Medicare Advantage telesales.

Responsibilities

· Manage and mentor telesales teams, ensuring agents meet performance targets such as call volume, conversion rates, and compliance metrics.

· Oversee agent training, onboarding, and development to maintain a high-performing and motivated salesforce.

· Support the company’s ambitious scaling goals for 2025 by implementing efficient processes and systems for sales growth.

· Ensure agents deliver outstanding customer service, providing plan comparisons and enrollment assistance tailored to individual needs.

· Leverage CRM tools like AgencyBlock to track performance metrics, analyze sales data, and drive operational improvements.

· Work closely with marketing and operations to align strategies and maximize lead conversion.

Qualifications

· 5-10 years of Medicare sales experience, including at least one year of managing telesales agents.

· Proven track record of training, onboarding, and scaling sales teams while fostering a positive team culture.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, scaling environment and provide creative solutions to evolving challenges.

· Deep understanding of the Medicare landscape, including Medicare Advantage and supplemental products.

· Demonstrated success managing remote teams and driving performance in a virtual environment.
