About the Role
As the Business Development Manager for the Southwest USA, you’ll be at the forefront of introducing this game-changing technology to the pool industry. Focused on building and expanding relationships with pool contractors, architects, and builders, you’ll drive market development and establish the company’s presence in key territories. This is a highly visible, hands-on role for someone with a hunter’s mindset and a passion for driving results.
Responsibilities
· Drive revenue growth by managing the full sales cycle, including prospecting, lead generation, client presentations, and closing.
· Build relationships with key players in the pool industry, including contractors, landscape architects, and home builders, to promote the company’s value proposition.
· Identify opportunities to grow market share within the Southwest USA, with a strong focus on California.
· Conduct in-person presentations, Lunch & Learns, and trade show demonstrations to showcase the benefits of movable pool floor technology.
· Work closely with engineering, marketing, and leadership teams to deliver exceptional service and solutions tailored to customer needs.
· Serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring customers receive top-tier support throughout the sales and installation process.
Qualifications
· 5+ years of B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years selling to pool contractors or related industries.
· Deep understanding of the pool industry, including its key players, trends, and challenges.
· Hunter mentality with proven success in developing new markets and exceeding sales quotas.
· Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to connect with a wide range of stakeholders.
· Familiarity with CRM platforms (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred) and data-driven sales approaches.
· Willingness to travel for client-facing engagements, covering 50% or more of the time.
· Located in Southwest USA, preference given to candidates in California.
