About the Role

The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities for the Logistics Division. Its primary focus is on acquiring new clients and establishing strategic partnerships within the North American market. Focusing on the manufacturing, services, and defense sectors, this role involves developing strong customer relationships, contributing to the commercial strategy, and expanding the company’s presence in North America. This is an individual contributor role, focused on hands-on sales execution and account management.

Responsibilities

· Contribute to the formulation and execution of commercial strategies through market research and analysis of industry trends.

· Proactively identify and engage prospective customers within the North American market, developing tailored sales strategies to meet their needs.

· Serve as the primary point of contact for major account customers in the manufacturing, services, and defense sectors.

· Manage the new customer account, partner, and contracts after securing new business, ensuring consistent and proactive customer relationship management.

· Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, operations, technical experts and transversal business development functions to ensure a seamless experience for customers and prospects.

· Actively address and report any concerns raised during customer interactions.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.

· 5+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in logistics, aerospace, or related industries.

· Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing key accounts.

· Strong understanding of the North American market, particularly in the manufacturing, services, and defense sectors.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

· Experience with CRM tools and sales reporting systems.
