About the Role
The Business Development Manager will play a key role in identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities within the Southwest Ontario region. This role is ideal for a hunter-minded sales professional who thrives in B2B sales, has experience selling facility services or related solutions, and excels at building relationships with property managers, facility directors, and procurement leads.
This is a hybrid position, requiring time in the field meeting clients, as well as office collaboration with internal teams. The role is based in London, ON. Candidates from London, Kitchener, and Waterloo are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
· Proactively identify and engage new business opportunities through strategic outreach.
· Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to uncover high-value prospects.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers in commercial real estate, property management, and corporate facilities.
· Serve as a trusted consultant, understanding client needs and aligning them with tailored service solutions.
· Develop compelling proposals and presentations that effectively communicate value.
· Work closely with operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery and strong post-sale client relationships.
· Utilize CRM software (Dynamics 365) to track pipeline activity, maintain sales reporting, and monitor progress.
Qualifications
· 5+ years of B2B sales experience in a hunter sales role, ideally within facility services, landscaping, HVAC, uniform services, or similar industries.
· Proven ability to build relationships with property managers, procurement leads, and facility decision-makers.
· Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills, with experience handling long sales cycles and complex contracts.
· Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with a track record of closing high-value deals.
· Highly resilient, tenacious, and action-oriented, with a focus on long-term success.
· Tech-savvy, with experience using CRM platforms (Dynamics 365 preferred) and sales tracking tools.

· Must be based in London or Kitchener-Waterloo, with the ability to travel frequently for client meetings.
