About the Role

This is a sales role, involving pipeline development, full sales cycle management, and supporting sales pursuits with our partners and Microsoft field sales representatives to represent their client and their products to drive new wins and expand use within their customers. The ideal candidate brings a passion for enterprise software sales, positive enthusiasm, and a hunger to achieve more.

Responsibilities:

Develop and lead a sales strategy for client acquisition and revenue growth within your territory

Meet and exceed designated revenue goals

Lead follow-up and qualification to help build a strong qualified pipeline

Utilize a process-driven selling approach to drive and close new revenue opportunities

Develop strong client, partner, and Microsoft field relationships

Maintain a pulse on competitors and industry

Maintain a sound knowledge of the product to effectively communicate and represent the product capabilities and benefits

Maintain an understanding of IT Service Management Processes and the Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform solutions

Provide input into future product capabilities based on client, market requirements, and experience

Establish key performance indicators (KPls) for sales enablement initiatives and continuously monitor and analyze performance metrics.

Utilize data-driven insights to identify areas for optimization and implement strategies to improve overall performance and results.

Engage with senior leadership, stakeholders, and key decision-makers to communicate progress, challenges, and opportunities related to sales enablement initiatives

Qualifications

5+ years of software sales experience, with ITSM and ITAM-related experience being highly desired. You are in Canada, ideally in the Ottawa region.

University degree / College diploma or equivalent experience

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience and success in IT software solution sales.

Full sales cycle experience – driving all aspects of a deal from qualification through to close.

A positive and professional attitude combined with a solid work ethic

Experience with IT Service Management, ITIL, and IT operations is highly desirable

Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Teams, Power Platform is a plus

Experience and comfort in engaging C-level management and working with IT professionals of all levels

Experience in assessing and responding to client needs

Strong business acumen and the ability to influence

Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills

Strong interpersonal skills working in collaborative internal and external team environments
