About the Role
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll play a key role in expanding our client’s EMS business. This position requires someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, has a strategic mindset, and can drive long-term relationships with major manufacturers. With a focus on large-scale solutions, you’ll work across multiple industries, identifying opportunities and helping clients transition their ideas into fully realized products.
Responsibilities
· Build and nurture relationships with major EMS contract manufacturers.
· Identify and develop opportunities in industries such as IoT, automotive, and aging population solutions.
· Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of end-to-end solutions.
· Manage 12–14-month sales cycles and establish strong connections with procurement and product teams.
· Guide customers from initial concept to finalized design and packaging.
· Travel as required to meet clients and attend key meetings, with a preference for candidates near major airports.
Qualifications
· Proven success in EMS or IoT-related product sales, with a deep understanding of electronics manufacturing processes.
· Experience selling cable assemblies, circuit boards, or component-level solutions is highly desirable.
· Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and work effectively with engineering and product development teams.
· Familiarity with clients in industries such as temperature control, automotive, and smart energy systems.
· Preference given to candidates in Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio
