Our client aims to create a diversified portfolio of off-market private equity real estate investments, focusing on ownership stakes in residential development projects that will be upgraded and sold as condominiums or purpose-built rental properties.

About the Role

As the Senior Associate, Private Capital Markets, you will play a crucial role in driving capital raising efforts internally within the retail private capital markets segment. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute strategic sales initiatives in order to achieve overall capital goals.

Responsibilities

· Drive the execution of sales initiatives, including prospecting, lead generation, client presentations, pipeline management through sales funnel, and closing deals.

· Meet or exceed fundraising targets.

· Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop key corporate messaging, process and vision.

· Implement strategic plans to drive internal sales efforts, with a focus on maximizing capital-raising opportunities and achieving targets.

· Generate leads, nurture prospects, and close new investors.

· Manage existing client relationships throughout their investment term.

· Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Fund admin and accounting teams, Exempt Market Dealer partners, and other relevant teams.

· Ensure alignment and support for capital raising initiatives, including monthly closings.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

· Registered Dealing Representative with 2+ years experience.

· Completion of either Canadian Securities Course or Exempt Market Proficiency Course

· Proven experience in capital raising, sales, or a related field within the financial services industry.

· Strong understanding of private capital markets and regulatory requirements.

· Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.

· Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics.

· High level of integrity and ethical standards.
