Job Title – Sales Representative

About the Hiring Company

Our client specializes in helping locate the area’s best contractors, service companies, manufacturers, and distributors for all your home repair and improvement needs. Their online directory makes it convenient for homeowners to search by category and get estimates from local contractors.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in outside sales, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to sell innovative solutions to new clients.

Responsibilities

· Managing sales pipeline with 100% emphasis on developing new business opportunities, the majority done over the phone. Only sell to home services (home improvement companies, mailing component – mail about 1 million/monthly)

· Managing the relationships and work with the administration team

· The candidate will have a track record of achieving sales goals, and thrive on selling and winning

· The candidate will maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors

· The candidate will maintain the CRM database

· The candidate will maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies

· Make outbound calls and present offerings to potential clients in full clarity

· Meet with clients virtually or face to face for in-person appointments as business requires

· Confidently close deals with new clientele

· Meet and exceed monthly sales quotas

· Personality and attitude that represent and consistently demonstrate the company’s core values

· Keen ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment

Qualifications

· The candidate must have demonstrated outside sales experience

· The candidate must know about direct-mail advertising and prior sales experience

· Print media background

· Advertising & marketing experience

· The candidate must have strong negotiation and closing skills over the phone, excellent organization, and reasoning skills

· The candidate must be flexible to travel to clients and meet face to face as well as over the phone as requested

· The candidate has B2B sales experience and a proven ability to close business

· The candidate must: have a clear criminal background. If offered a position with the company, a pre-employment background check will be required as a condition of employment and is contingent on results
