Our client is California’s leading producer of concrete masonry units, interlocking concrete pavers, decorative site wall units, and segmental planter wall units.
About the Role
The Outside Sales Representative will assist customers on the phone and in the field. Looking for an experienced Sales Representative in a fast-paced environment demanding strong organizational, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
Responsibilities:
· Sales Representative will provide support to the organization by ensuring that an excellent standard of service and a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained.
· Prepare sales summary reports and coordinate the handling of challenging situations.
· This is a full-time on-site position, from Monday through Friday.
Qualifications
· Experience working with building materials, or masonry is strongly preferred
· Detail-oriented, resourceful, and thorough in completing projects
· Can multi-task effectively
· A clean driving record in necessary
· Exceptional communication skills, proactive and friendly, conscientious and diligent, committed to contributing to operational goals in a positive, productive way
· Proven success at improving customer service, workflow processes, and production
· Able to work under pressure/deadlines
· Communicate effectively in written and verbal forms (i.e.: e-mail, in-person, telephone)
· Additional duties may be assigned
· High school diploma (or general education degree (GED) and one to two years related experience (and/or training), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Intermediate to advanced math skills
· To perform this job successfully, an individual should have intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows Systems and Microsoft Office Applications.
