The Sales Development Representative (SDR) drives sales efforts by proactively identifying, consulting with, and ultimately acquiring new B2B partners and users. Acting as the day-to-day contact with customers, the successful candidate will be someone who thrives on strategically building long-term, mutually beneficial relationships.
Responsibilities
- Contact current and prospective customers to drive new and returning users and, ultimately, sales.
- Identify qualified contacts within vetted customer or partner accounts based on the provided profile criteria.
- Engage in in-person events such as networking engagements, trade shows, and in-person visits to partner sites.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of industry trends to best promote the company's benefits.
- Track progress and activities towards meeting sales goals within CRM and prospecting tools as needed.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to ensure key account needs are met both short- and long-term.
- Partner with internal technical teams as needed to best recommend solutions to each client.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years’ B2B sales required.
- Previous work in a SaaS environment is preferred.
- Ability to successfully establish partner relationships in both an inbound and outbound capacity.
- Ability to work at a fast pace, learn products, systems and sales processes.
- Ability to work effectively with others while maintaining independent drive.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
