  • 1. What does your service include?
    We offer a full recruiting solution to employers. We assess your position(s), profile your role, share a recruiting strategy, hunt for candidates, screen, interview and test candidates, and present the best to you. Along the way we will consult with you about your requirements, the pros and cons of each candidates, as well as advice on compensation and contract negotiations. We work for you.

    Top performers are sales professionals who consistently meet or exceed their targets. While top performers share some common attributes, the specific skills and traits required for success are often different at different companies or with different offerings (see Selling Environment below).
  • 6. What is the selling environment and why is it important?
    A Selling Environment is a set of characteristics that defines the way a company sells. The definition of a particular selling environment includes aspects such as product price, typical deal size, sales cycle, selling methodology, sales team culture, marketing support, company maturity, and competition level. Research shows that different personality traits and competencies are required for success in different selling environment.
  • 7. Are all good sales people the same?
    No. There is no such thing as the selling machine that can sell anything to anyone. It is not uncommnon for a successful sales person to experience less success when they move to a different company or selling a different product or service. Top performers have some common traits, but different roles in different selling environments often require a unique set of traits or different dominant traits.
  • 8. How does Peak Sales know what we need? We have a structured process for defining the selling environment and determining the traits required to be successful in the role. This process has proven to result in a high percentage of sales hires that consistently produce at or above target for the company on a long term basis.
  • 9. Does Peak Sales mine the job boards for job seekers?
    Our service is often called “search service” or “headhunting” because the candidates we place, successful sales people, are typically engaged in gainful employment. While they may be open to new opportunities, they are not typically seeking new work and not inclined to be scanning job boards to see what is out there. Looking for work would detract from their success in their current work. In order to find and engage top performers, Peak must do research to identify targets, reach out to them and develop relationships that allow us to assess whether they are the right fit or not. This is very time consuming.

  • 1. How much does the service cost?
    The service fees are calculated on a case by case basis and once we understand the effort required to find the desired hire(s). The fees are not tied to the salary of the individual as there is usually an inverse correlation between the compensation and the effort (ie. The higher the compensation, the easier it is to find someone).
  • 2. How long does it take to get candidates?
    The amount of time to see the first candidates depends on the specificity of the requirements, and it usually takes a matter of days to find the first candidates on a search.
  • 3. How complicated is the process?
    We do the hard work so that hiring is simple for our clients. We have worked hard to make a complex process simple to our clients. We have templates that we share to articulate requirements and rank candidates. Our goal is to remove guesswork in selecting the right person.
  • 4. What do I need to do during the project?
    During the process we will collect business and hiring requirements from you and we will ask you to provide constructive feedback throughout the process so we can find the best person in the shortest amount of time possible.
  • 5. Do I have to sign a contract?
    Yes. Our contracts outline our goals, process and obligations on each project so that we meet your expectations.
  • 6. Can I cancel at any time?
    Our contracts may be cancelled at any time.
  • 7. What if I want to hire more people?
    A search can be expanded either before, during or at the end of a project. Once our clients see the quality of the candidates they receive from us, they often expand projects to make additional hires.
